Once you have created a decorated product in Printeez, you can publish it directly to your connected Shopify store from the My Products page.
How to Add a Product
- Go to My Products in the left navigation
- Click the ... menu at the top right of the product card you want to publish
- Select Add to Store
The Add to Store page opens. The page is divided into four sections: Selected Product, Choose Store, Variants, and Listing Details.
Selected Product
The top section displays the product you selected, including its name, model, and the print location badge (for example, FRONT | DTG). This is for reference only and cannot be changed from this page.
Choose Store
Select the Shopify store you want to publish the product to. Your connected stores are displayed as cards. Click a store to select it. Once selected, the store name appears in the section header and the Variants section becomes available.
Variants
Click Choose Variants to open the variant selection panel and choose which colours and sizes to include in your Shopify listing.
Choosing Variants
The variant panel shows the product name and model at the top. Colours are listed on the left; click a colour to see its available sizes on the right.
For each colour, the sizes are shown as buttons with their inventory count below. Out-of-stock sizes are shown in grey and cannot be selected.
To select variants:
- Click individual size buttons to select or deselect them
- Select All Sizes: selects all available sizes for the currently viewed colour
- Select All Colors & Sizes: selects all available variants across all colours at once. The link changes to Deselect All Colors & Sizes when everything is selected.
A counter badge on each colour swatch shows how many variants are selected for that colour. When you are done, click the Select X items button in the black bar at the bottom to confirm your selection and return to the Add to Store page.
Pricing Strategy
After selecting variants, a pricing table appears showing each variant with its Retail Price (editable), Fulfillment Cost, and Estimated Profit. Use the Pricing Strategy options to set prices quickly:
Fixed Price
Sets the same retail price for all selected variants. Enter the price and click Set to apply it to all variants at once.
Margin
Adds a percentage or fixed amount on top of the fulfillment cost. This automatically calculates a selling price based on your desired profit margin across all selected variants. Enter the margin value and click Set to apply.
You can also edit the Retail Price field directly for any individual variant in the table.
Listing Details
These details will appear in your Shopify product listing. All fields in this section are optional except for the title.
Title
By default, the decorated product's name is copied as the Shopify product title. You can edit it here. For better organization, use consistent naming across Printeez and Shopify to make products easier to find in your account.
Description
Enter a product description using the rich text editor. The toolbar lets you apply bold, italic, strikethrough, links, bullet lists, and numbered lists. Your description should explain what the item is and why customers should buy it.
Media
Two image toggles control which mockup images are sent to Shopify:
- Toggle 1: the decorated product's mockup is used as the main product image in your Shopify listing. Turn it off if you prefer not to include it.
- Toggle 2: the print location's mockup is used as the variant image in your Shopify listing. Use the print location selector (for example, Front | DTG) to choose which mockup appears. Turn it off if you prefer not to include it.
Product Type
Optionally enter a product type to help organize your Shopify catalog. For more information and best practices, refer to Shopify's guide.
Vendor
Optionally enter a vendor name for this product. For more information on how the vendor field works.
Tags
Add tags to help organize and filter products in your Shopify store. Enter a tag in the field and press the comma key to add it. You can add as many tags as needed. Tags are especially useful for larger catalogs to organize products into collections.

Publish Your Product
When all sections are configured, click Publish in the sticky bar at the bottom of the page. This saves your product settings and sends the product to your connected Shopify store. All selected variants, pricing, images, and listing details will be used to create the product in Shopify.
Important: Activate Your Product in Shopify
After publishing, the product will appear in your Shopify account with the status Draft. This means the product has been created but is not yet visible on your online store.
To make the product available to customers:
- Log in to your Shopify Admin
- Go to Products and open the product you just created
- In the Status section on the right side, change the status from Draft to Active
- Click Save
Once the status is set to Active, the product will appear on your storefront.
Your Printeez product is now available in your Shopify store.
