Printing Methods Overview
Printeez On Demand offers three main printing and decoration methods. Each product in the catalog clearly shows which methods are available:
- DTG (Direct-to-Garment): Prints directly into the fabric for a soft, retail-quality finish. Best for full-colour artwork or photographic designs on cotton-rich garments.
- DTF (Direct-to-Film): Prints onto film and is heat-transferred for a vibrant, slightly raised finish. Ideal for bold vector logos and consistent colors across multiple fabric types including polyester, nylon, and performance fabrics.
- Embroidery: Stitched decoration ideal for premium branding on caps, beanies, polos, jackets, and more.
File Formats & Artwork Requirements
For the best print results, follow these artwork requirements when uploading your files:
- File type: PNG (preferred) or SVG for vector-based artwork
- Resolution: 300 DPI minimum
- Color profile: sRGB
- Max file size: 50 MB
- Print size: Export your file at the actual print dimensions (e.g., a 10” wide file for a 10” print)
You can upload artwork directly in the design tool and reuse it across different products in your catalog.

DTF (Direct-to-Film) — Frequently Asked Questions
DTF Minimum Order Quantity
There are no minimums for DTF orders. You can order a single item or thousands. DTF is perfect for testing designs, small batches, or on-demand fulfillment.
DTF Production Time
Most DTF orders ship within 3–5 business days. Certain products from our curated in-stock selection are available for next-day shipping at no additional cost, look for the Fast Turnaround label when browsing the catalog.
Will DTF Prints Crack or Peel?
DTF prints are highly durable when cared for properly. Follow the garment care instructions: wash inside-out in cold water and avoid high-heat drying to maximize longevity.
Printing on Polyester & Performance Fabrics
Yes! DTF works great on polyester, nylon, and performance fabrics, unlike DTG, which is limited to cotton-rich materials. DTF is the recommended method for athletic wear, moisture-wicking fabrics, and synthetic blends.
Embroidery — Frequently Asked Questions

Most on-demand embroidery orders ship within 3–5 business days. In-stock products with the Fast Turnaround label may be available for next-day shipping.
Logo Digitization
You do not need to digitize your logo yourself. Printeez handles digitization for you. Simply upload your logo (vector files such as AI, EPS, or PDF work best), and we will convert it into an embroidery-ready stitch file.
Compatible Fabrics for Embroidery
Embroidery works on most woven fabrics including cotton, polyester, canvas, and blends. It is ideal for polos, hats, jackets, bags, and uniforms.
Embroidery is not recommended for very thin or stretchy fabrics, as the backing and stitching may distort the fabric.

Standard embroidery areas are:
- Left chest logo: Up to 4” × 4”
