How Billing Works
Printeez charges you per order at the time of production. There are no monthly subscription fees on Standard plan, you are only billed when orders are approved and sent to production.
- Per-Order Billing : Each approved order generates a charge based on the product cost and shipping rate for your plan.
- Invoicing : Invoices are generated automatically and sent to your billing email after each order is processed.
- Payment Methods : Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) are accepted.
- Currency : All pricing is in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, your account will be flagged and new orders may be held until the balance is resolved. Here is what to do:
- Check the failed payment notification email sent to your billing address
- Go to Settings: Billing and verify your payment method is current and has sufficient funds
- Retry Payment: Click this button next to the failed invoice to attempt the charge again
- If the issue persists, contact your bank or add a new payment method
- Grace Period: Printeez allows a 5-day grace period before placing your account on hold for non-payment. During this time, orders in production continue to be processed.
- Account Hold: After the grace period, new orders will not enter production until the outstanding balance is cleared.
Contact support immediately if you believe a payment failure is due to a billing error on our end. We will investigate and correct any discrepancies.
Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan
You can change your plan at any time from your dashboard:
- Go to My Account — Subscriptions
- Manage Plan : Click this button to view available plans and select a new one
- Confirm the change : The new plan takes effect immediately for all new orders
When upgrading, you immediately gain access to lower production and shipping rates on new orders.
When downgrading, the lower-tier rates apply starting with your next order.
Plan changes do not retroactively affect orders already in production or invoiced. If you are mid-order-cycle when you upgrade, those orders continue at the original plan rate.
Cancelling Your Account
If you need to close your Printeez merchant account, contact support at support@printeez.com with your account email and a request for account cancellation.
Before cancellation:
- All outstanding invoices must be paid
- Orders in production will continue to be fulfilled and billed
- Connected store integrations will be automatically disconnected
- Your account data (orders, invoices, product settings) is retained for 90 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted
Account cancellation is permanent. If you change your mind within 90 days, contact support to reactivate your account and restore your data.
