The Files tab in the Design Tool is where you add artwork to your canvas. You can add artwork from your Artworks Library or upload a new file directly.
Opening the Files Tab
Click the Files tab in the left panel of the Design Tool. The tab shows two sections: Library and Upload.
Adding from Your Library
The Library section displays all the artwork files you have uploaded to your Printeez Artworks library.
- Click the Files tab.
- Browse your library or use the search bar to find a file.
- Click on an artwork to add it to the canvas. The artwork appears as a new layer centered on the current print location.
Uploading a New File
To use a file you have not yet uploaded to Printeez:
- Click the Files tab.
- Click the Upload button or drag a file onto the upload area.
- Select a file from your computer. Supported formats include PNG, JPEG, SVG, and PDF.
- The file uploads to your Artworks Library and is automatically added to the canvas.
Supported File Types
- PNG: recommended for artwork with transparency
- JPEG / JPG: for photographic artwork
- SVG: vector artwork, best for logos and text-based designs
- PDF: vector or raster artwork
After Adding Artwork
Once artwork is on the canvas, it appears as a layer in the Artwork & Layers tab. Use the positioning, sizing, and color tools from that tab to adjust it.
