The Artwork Colors tool lets you control how colors appear in your artwork once it is placed on the canvas. You can choose a color rendering mode and override individual colors in the artwork's palette.
Accessing Artwork Colors
Select an artwork layer in the Artwork & Layers tab, then click the Artwork Colors option that appears in the layer's tool options.
Color Modes
Three color rendering modes are available:
- Normal: the artwork is printed with its full original color palette. This is the default mode and is recommended for most artwork.
- Shaded: the artwork is rendered with shading and shadows applied, giving it a three-dimensional, textured look.
- Single Color: the entire artwork is printed in one color. A color picker appears so you can choose which color to use. This is useful for minimalist designs, one-color prints, or when printing on dark garments with a single-color logo.
Palette Override
In Normal or Shaded mode, the artwork's individual colors appear as swatches below the mode selector. Click any swatch to open a color picker and replace that color with a different one. This lets you adapt an artwork to match a garment color or brand palette without editing the original file.
