For your neck tag to print cleanly and correctly, your artwork must meet Printeez's design specifications. Printeez provides downloadable templates that include the correct dimensions, safe zones, and bleed areas.
Downloading the Template
In the Branding section, look for the Download Template button or link. The template is provided as a PDF or layered file (PSD/AI). Open it in your design software to use as a guide when creating your neck tag artwork.
Design Specifications
- Size: the printable area of the neck tag is set by Printeez. Use the template to design within the correct dimensions.
- Safe zone: keep all critical content (logo, text, brand name) inside the safe zone indicated in the template. Elements outside the safe zone may be cut off during production.
- Bleed: if your design extends to the edge, extend it to the bleed line in the template to avoid white edges.
- Resolution: design at 300 DPI at the final print size for the best print quality.
- Color mode: use CMYK color mode for the most accurate color reproduction. RGB files are also accepted but colors may shift slightly.
Supported File Types for Upload
- PNG: with transparent background (recommended)
- SVG: vector artwork (recommended for logos and text)
- PDF: vector or raster
- JPEG: accepted, but PNG or SVG is preferred for best quality
Tips
- Keep it simple: neck tags are small, a logo and brand name typically work better than a complex design
- High contrast: text should be high-contrast against the garment fabric color for readability
- No manufacturer marks: do not include any existing manufacturer label content in your design
