An order has the status Needs Approval when it has been synced from your connected Shopify, Etsy, or WooCommerce store and is waiting for you to review and submit it for production. You must go through a 3-step approval process before the order is sent to production.
Approving an Order
Open the order from your Orders page. The approval process has three steps.
Step 1: Order Items
In this step, you review the products included in the order. You can make the following changes before proceeding:
- Add products: Click Add Products to include additional items in the order.
- Void or change a product: Click the Void Product option to remove an item from the order, or Change Product to replace it with a different decorated product.
- Edit quantity: Adjust the quantity for any item directly in the product list.
Customer Information
On the right side of the page, you will see the customer's details: name, email address, phone number, total number of orders from this customer, and shipping address.
To update the shipping address, click Edit Shipping Address in the customer information panel.
Save for Later
If you are not ready to submit the order, click Save for Later to return to it at a later time. The order will remain in Needs Approval status.
When you are ready to continue, click Continue to Shipping Info.
Step 2: Shipping Info
In this step, you select the shipping method for the order.
- Select the shipping method you want to use for this order.
- Note that shipping time is separate from production time. The estimated production time is displayed on the page for reference.
- Click Continue to Review to proceed to the final step.
Step 3: Order Review
In this step, you review all the details of the order before submitting payment.
The Order Review page shows:
- Shipping From: The Printeez production warehouse the order will be fulfilled from.
- The complete list of products and quantities in the order.
- Shipping details including the selected shipping method.
- Customer information and shipping address.
- Order totals including subtotal, shipping, taxes, and the total amount to be charged.
Click Continue to Payment to go to the payment page, then click Pay to submit the order. Once payment is processed, the order status changes to In Production.
Submitting Multiple Orders at Once
If you have multiple orders with the status Needs Approval, you can submit them all at once using the Bulk Submit Orders feature. For more information, see: Bulk Submit Orders.
